CAN DEAD KIDNEY(S) LIVE/FUNCTION AGAIN?

Can DEAD KIDNEYS live again?

The answer to this...we can explore together such that you will  be the one to answer the question.

Medical experts identify two types of kidney problems Acute Kidney failure or Injury (AKI) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

The first is acute pain in the kidney due to a cause  that the persons experiencing such would most likely be able to identify by themselves or in consultation with healthcare expert(s).

For instance if you swallow or drink or inhale something very toxic – not long after – maybe minutes, hours or days later, you start feeling intense pain in or around your kidney(s).

The pain is so much your body has difficulty functioning well. Since the pain is much or unbearable, you go to the hospital or see a healthcare provider and they can treat it.

Having identified the cause, you will of course stop it except it's an addiction which should still  be stopped.

Another option which you shouldn’t take except you really don’t have access to professional healthcare at that time  is that having identified what caused or had been causing the problem, you completely stop the intake or use of that harmful substance. You eat assuredly healthy fruits and vegetables as well as healthy balanced diet meals and drink clean water. The kidney problem will most likely get resolved.

When such pain subside, some people also use fasting to clear their system of toxins, taking only water for days. Always consult with a healthcare professional before undertaking such concerning your health.

But for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) - this is the main reason for the question above begging for answer.

With CKD, when the problem starts, you may not know that your kidney(s) is/are being damaged. Why? Because the things that mostly cause the damage are considered healthy and they don’t cause such considerable pain, if at all when you take or use them. If you are sensitive though, you will be able to detect the distress signals in your body even if mild.

The harmful substances that can harm the kidneys are in relatively small quantities in most of our food,  in our drinks which may include treated water and in our medicinal drugs. Also, atmospheric pollutants and even some supplements contain them.

They are also in many of our body-care products- body lotions, body and hair creams, bathing soaps, powders etc.

They are in most alcoholic drinks, tobacco products and hard drugs.

A lot of people avoid the last three but inadvertently take in the harmful substances mainly through food, drinks, medicines, supplements and body care products over a prolonged period – several years.

By the time it is discovered, the condition may have reached what is described as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).

Medical experts say at that point, the person can only be kept alive through dialysis [using artificial means to remove the waste from the body)  or through kidney transplant.

So what if the person doesn’t get a donor (on time) – do they continue with dialysis? That of course results in limitations in that person’s life.

But isn’t it possible to reverse this ESRD condition? Can’t those kidney(s) live/function again?

TRUE LIFE STORY
A man  in his late 20s had lived most of his life from his early teens indulging in hard substances.

Due to the situation of his family, he also lived off the streets, eating mainly junk foods, roadside foods.

When he started having serious pains, and difficulty urinating, he told some friends. One of them said it was likely kidney disease. But he dismissed it saying Kidney Disease was rich man’s disease and he wasn’t rich.

He would buy and take painkillers and continued his lifestyle of taking alcohol, tobacco and hard drugs in addition to unhealthy eating foods and lifestyle generally.

By the time he finally. confirmed it was kidney disease, it had got to the point  medical experts believe to be  of no return.

By then it was not just difficulty in urinating, he could no longer urinate at all. His body became very swollen such that people who knew him couldn’t recognise he was the one except if told.

He didn’t  have the funds for dialysis and certainly not for kudney transplant. So he was left to die.

He got help from a faith-based organisation and was taken to the hospital. At the hospital, he saw people whose kidney(s) condition were not even as advanced - dead as his condition dying.

But after some weeks at the hospital, he recovered and it was believed to be a supernatural miracle.

But read on as I explain - I believe in miracles – in the power of an Almighty God to suspend physical laws and restore health.  But this particular miracle did not happen through the suspension of physical laws but was based on the natural laws that the Almighty God already established at the beginning of creation.

That the man did not die before he got help to be taken to hospital was indeed the goodness and mercy of God.

But what actually happened thst led to tital recovery? Those things the man had been doing for several years that led to  the Chronic kidney Disease such that his kidneys stopped functioning, he had no option but to stop when his kidneys failed and all that was left was for him to die.

The medical intervention helped but he recovered well enough without a kidney transplant, returned to his previous slim stature and was discharged from the hospital.

Before  he was discharged from the hospital, he did experience some withdrawal systems from stopping his addictions.

In about a year to less than two-years, he  became  completely  healed, no longer needing dialysis, no longer needing medication, urinating normally without any pain and returned to working really hard as a welder to fend for his family.

So, why do some people still perpetually need dialysis until they get  a kidney transplant?

To be continued...
