EI- NINO: HEALTH SAFEGUARD, DEATHS PREVENTABLE

PHOTO CAPTION: Making of Body Scrub with Agricultural Raw Materials: Honey, Palm Kernel Oil, Activated Charcoal, Sea Salt, Leaves of Fruit trees

To my surprise I read experts’ posts that there could be significant number of deaths as a result of El-Nino (You can read details about El-Nino in the Comments section).

Staying hydrated was of course highly-recommended during El-Nino. Also recommended was taking in of electrolytes as water alone cannot help one's body stay hydrated. But why the deaths? According to explanation given by a medical doctor, when the body is not well-hydrated, the blood becomes thicker. A thick blood of course means blood flow can be affected with the heart having to do more work. As a result, there  may be a heart attack or stroke. The medical doctor did say most deaths caused by El-Nino are usually reported as strokes, heart attacks or other health problems.

At that I got a light bulb switch on. What did the light bulb reveal?  The following:
Even if dehydration makes a blood thicker, it is NOT enough to cause death as long as it is not excessive. A person would at least have on average  a small cup-size of water daily.  That is not enough even on days when it is not so hot. Such small intake of water would make the person feel dehydrated and weak but shouldn’t  be enough to cause death. So what actually causes death when a person is dehydrated? The persistent impurities in the blood/bloodstream!

The medical doctor did say not drinking enough water would not allow the body pass out enough urine to get out metabolic wastes. Everything the medical doctor said is correct. But note that some people fast for days without taking even water and do not die. There are also those who take  lots of water during fasting  or in addition  to food during very harsh weather conditions like El-Nino  and still die. The point is that  it is the nature of the substances in what people eat or drink during El-Nino or fasting with water that actually causes death.

You may argue that lots of water is needed to pass out wastes as urine from  drinks or what is eaten after absorption. Into the bloodstream . But do you know that if all the substances in what is eaten or in drinks  taken are biodegradable, the wastes from the metabolic processes will still find various means of getting out of the body if not all get out through urine.

Some of the biodegradable wastes can even get re-used by the body. But the person’s body wont feel too good, may feel very weak but  not enough to die. Remember that in the olden days people used to trek very long distances  drinking and eating small ration of water and food.
Other ways wastes would still leave the body include:

1. Through the skin – it may result in some break outs or rashes on the skin.

2. The hairs especially on the head become brittle and fall off

3. The nails also become brittle and break

4. The person would likely have bad breath

5. The eyes will secrete puss-like substances

All the above are wastes coming out of the body when there is dehydration or inadequate water in the body system.
All biodegradable wastes that do not pass through the urine can find other pathways (though not legit) out of the body. Some non-biodegradable wastes would also seek such pathways mentioned  above to make exit from the body. But just as they can harm the kidney(s) even if the person's body is well-hydrated  or constantly rehydrated, so they can cause serious harm when trying to exit through other pathways out of the body.

So during  El-Nino or any other harsh weather or environmental condition or whatever the situation is, it is those non-biodegradable substances that have no business getting into the body at all that actually cause death. So when moisture levels  constantly go down during a harsh weather or environmental condition like El-Niño, those non-biodegradable substances are the ones that attack the heart, cause stroke which is an instruction to blood flow such that it doesn’t get to vital parts of the body or the brain. It is as a result of these or any other disease or body dysfunction caused by non-biodegradable substances that the person dies and not actually  the drop in water levels in the body.

So what you should be very concerned about is eating  truly healthy foods. Ensure as much as possible that the healthy foods do not contain non-biodegradable substances at all or in significant amounts. You should of course ensure to stay well-hydrated. As per electrolytes such as fruit juices, leafy greens etc, the same goes. Ensure the fruits and veggies you take are organic-grown  so as not to have those non-biodegradable  substances building up inside your body even while you are taking sufficient quantity of water and ‘electrolyting’. Same goes for medicines, drugs or supplements you are taking. Are the substances in them or used in producing them able to make exit from the body through legit or even non-legit pathways without causing serious harm?

Also, avoid use of body care products that possibly contain such non-biodegradable products  particularly at such periods of extreme weather or climatic conditions. As much as possible, use body care products or at least a body scrub made from organic-grown agricultural raw materials without synthetics in the processing or preservation.

As per shoring up electrolytes balance, look for fresh foods that are in season – growing easily or normally in spite of weather conditions. This earth and the human body were designed by a highly- intelligent Creator who has ordered things so well that every health problem already has a solution . Even though some humans for reasons best known to them are trying to re-order, even destroy all that’s good, if we operate with the wisdom of God, we can live above the evil re-ordering of things.

EL-NINO EXPLAINEDU Climate pattern characterized by the warming of ocean surface temperatures in the central and eastern tropical Pacific Ocean.

How It Works

• Weakening Trade Winds: Normally, trade winds blow steadily from east to west across the Pacific, pushing warm surface water toward Indonesia and Australia and allowing cold water to rise from the deep near South America (a process called upwelling).
• Warm Water Shift: During El Niño, these trade winds weaken or sometimes reverse direction. This shift allows warm water to accumulate in the central and eastern Pacific instead.
• The ENSO Cycle: El Niño is the warm phase of a broader natural climate cycle known as the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Its cold counterpart is La Niña, and neutral conditions sit in between.

Frequency and Duration

• El Niño events recur irregularly every two to seven years.
• An episode typically lasts between 9 to 12 months, though some events can persist longer.
• Events are categorized by strength—ranging from weak to moderate, up to intense occurrences often referred to as "super El Niños".

Global Effects

Because the warm water releases a large amount of heat into the atmosphere, El Niño disrupts global jet streams and weather patterns:
• Precipitation Shifts: It often brings heavy rainfall and increased flooding to parts of the Americas, while causing severe droughts and high heat in Australia, Indonesia, and parts of Africa.
• Marine Impact: Weakened upwelling reduces the nutrient supply for phytoplankton off the South American coast, disrupting local fisheries and marine food webs.
• Global Temperatures: When El Niño coincides with long-term human-induced global warming, it frequently drives higher-than-average global temperatures and intense heatwave
