In continuation of the answers to Questions raised in Part 3 of this topic:
4.Why is there still the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life that led to the fall of humanity?
Answer: Human beings even Christians often or sometimes overfeed the flesh ( i.e. our body, mind, emotions, even self-will) to the detriment of our human spirit. The over-feeding is not just the quantity of food or what is ingested or what enters the body but it is heavily or constantly putting or allowing wrong things which can pollute the blood into the body. It also entails what people yield their physical senses to, which feeds the mind, how/what we allow ourselves to feel constantly and decisions we make willfully or deliberately – things we do or say not caring what the Spirit of God is telling us.
When we live by the truth – the undiluted word of God with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, for someone whose spirit has been regenerated i.e. truly born again, it strengthens the human spirit which is in connection with God. This will help to live life in accordance with God’s will and with the strength of God in spite of this life’s challenges. There could be times of weakness but the true believer is dedicated to living for God, trusting in His grace to overcome and handle past mistakes well so as to live for God. Philippians 4:13
But some persons whether born again or not constantly and deliberately pollutes the blood or allow their blood to be polluted with toxic substances in
🤙Food
🤙Medication
🤙Air
🤙Body care products
🤙Sex (as one or both partners may have toxics in their blood, moreso, if they are constantly engaging in sexual intercourse with other persons).
🤙Other means of entry into the blood,
Any one or more of this means of blood pollution weakens the human spirit. Why? The unseen human spirit i.e. human life is in the blood Leviticus 17:14 Pollution of the human blood is an assault on the human spirit whether born again or not.
FEEDING THE SOUL the soul i.e. mind, emotions and will through the senses such as what is constantly watched, heard, breathed, tasted or touched especially sensual touches can lead to thoughts, feelings and decisions which may be in line or out of line with God’s will and may thereby strengthen or weaken the human spirit.
That was what happened with the first sin of the first humans in this current dispensation of humanity on earth that we are.
Eve had been listening to the devil- she had been hearing that what God, her Creator said was wrong was just an attempt by God to prevent humans from becoming like God. But humans were already like God Genesis 1:26,27
She must have known in her spirit that giving such attention to the devil’s words was what was actually wrong but what he was saying was likely appealing to her senses. Eve saw that the forbidden fruit was desirable to eat (lust of the flesh) looked good(lust of the eyes) and that it can make one wise or superior (pride of life)
Genesis 3:1 -7,
Gen.3.6 - And when the woman saw that the tree was good (suitable, pleasant) for food and that it was delightful to look at, and a tree to be desired in order to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate; and she gave some also to her husband, and he ate.
Even till current times, those are still the main problems of humanity caused by over-dependence on physical senses in making very vital life decisions even when it is clearly contradictory to what God wants . You may ask, “Are you saying use of the physical senses to make decisions is bad?” No! It is God Himself that gave us our physical senses to do things in the natural realm but whenever He has clearly stated that something shouldn’t be done and humans allow their physical senses to supersede, there would be dire consequences even if not immediately. If you can thoroughly investigate, you will find out even what seems to be a highly spiritual whether sin or obedience often has physical implications for bad or good So God's main concern is to protect humans with His instructions or commandment not to deny us of enjoyment. But if people still choose to do what they want contrary to God’s will, He may allow them. But know that if there is a cause, there will be effect(s)
5.What is the essence of the blood of Jesus in relation to the pollution of human blood?
Answer: The wrong things humans do would have led to all humans and probably everything on earth being completely wiped out (again). Again? Yes, again- we, the current dispensation of humans on this earth starting with Adam and Eve and other living creatures are not the first to inhabit this planet earth. Everything on this earth had been completely destroyed before Genesis 1:1-3
There are lots of scientific evidence of pre-existence of living creatures on earth before Adam and Eve. This has led to disagreement between scientists and bible scholars. The bible is for this current dispensation of humanity on earth created in God’s image and other living creatures on earth were created in this dispensation before humans because all living creatures had been destroyed in prdvious dispensation spearheaded by the devil who also direly wants to destroy this current earth and all living creatures John 10:10a
So the essence of the blood of Jesus (God in human) is for the everlasting perpetuity of humanity John 10:10b. If God had not come as human, humanity as a result of the pollution of the blood would be someday forever wiped out, courtesy of the devil. But God who can never ever be wiped out came in human body, shed His blood, died and resurrected – this means that though humans may die physically but like God and other spirits would still be able to live forever in a spiritual body.
But the choice people make on earth would determine whether they will live with God or with the devil forever
Rom.10.9 - Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom.10.10 - For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
1John.1.9 - If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
6.How does the blood of Jesus actually deliver true believers from the generational pollutions in their blood?
Due to the sin of humanity which would have led to the complete wiping out of this current dispensation of humans, there was an old agreement, the Law which involved the shedding of the blood of animals as atonement for human sins. But the coming of Jesus Christ to earth which is actually God in human body, the shedding of his blood, death and resurrection has established a new agreement for the perpetuity of humanity and the ability to live a victorious life through Christ.
Heb.9.22 - [In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.
Heb.9.15 - [Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance - since a death has taken place which RESCUES and DELIVERS and REDEEMS them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.
Rom.5.8 - But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
These are deep spiritual truths. Read Hebrews 9: 11 to 9:26 for more clarification.
The essence of this whole Five Part Series on Blood Pollutants is to point out that spiritually including the soul and physically, we humans have the authority to exercise dominion over the things that pollute our human blood and live free of the devil’s destructive control if we really desire the mental well-being that God intends for us.
