Do you know that when your body is injured, it should have the capacity to effect speedy recovery, minimising your pain(s)?
After severe injury or injuries, when patients have been discharged from hospital or other healthcare facility, or received some treatment at a place, many still experience so much pains before they finally recover. Some injured persons do not even actually recover fully but keep on experiencing and managing the pains for prolonged period or throughout their lifetime.
A miracle is of course possible. But the same God that established miracles – suspension of physical laws to effect something that seemed naturally impossible was also the one that established natural laws for the body to heal itself. God originally designed the human body with the natural ability to heal by itself.
Why then is it often so difficult for human bodies to heal from injuries? It is mainly because human beings do not follow the Creator’s manual in maintaining their God-given bodies.
This causes the body not to be as functional or effective in performing its natural healing functions.
For example: have you heard of how people who bleach their skins with chemically-laden creams and soaps have had serious problems after surgery with their surgical cut(s)?
What if the injury is internal? It’s still the same principle, taking in or using on the body substances that are toxic to it hinders the body's natural healing functions.
Whether involved in an auto accident or another kind of accident like a fall or having a cut from wounds or cuts from medical treatments, your body’s natural ability to recover fully is determined by certain factors. These include what you have been ingesting – foods, drinks, medications and breathing in before the injury or cuts and afterwards.
1. This is a major reason people who undergo surgeries like reshaping or enlarging or reducing body part such as nose, bums, breasts, tummy were having issues with their skin around the area operated on. People who go for such surgeries usually also use highly sophisticated body care products e.g. creams, lotions, soaps or scrubs with substances supposed to be beauty enhancers but are toxic to the body.
Those who have been using body care products with natural ingredients that have not been over-processed with toxic substances shouldn’t have as much difficulty recovering from injuries such as major accidents, wound or surgical cuts.
Another vital thing to note is what goes into the body. Eating, drinking, medicating on over-processed foods, drinks, medications with toxic substances will also weaken your body’s ability to recover from injuries or surgical cuts. What you also inhale matters a lot – pure air or polluted air?
The good news is that the body God designed for us is very resilient. If you or anyone under your care is having difficulty recovering after surgical cuts, wounds or accident injuries, stop taking or using those aforementioned things that are inflammatory.
2. Avoid highly-processed foods as much as possible. They are usually processed and preserved with substances that are toxic.
3.Be very intentional in getting organic-grown foods. For example, beans cooked with onions should have been a very healthy meal to eat. But if you live in Nigeria, these and many highly demanded foodstuffs, are commercially produced with so much chemicals . If you cannot actually get beans and onions grown without chemicals, don’t eat such meal when recovering - it will likely cause very serious inflammation. Foods grown with chemicals will cause you so much pains and can delay the healing of cuts or wounds or major accident injuries.
Eating moin-moin at such time may be okay because the soaking in water and washing off of the beans’ peal considerably reduces the levels of chemicals.
4. A person recovering from cut, wound, any injury, disease or ill-health should of course avoid fried foods.
5. Another thing to avoid is refined sugar because the refining processes load sugar with high levels of toxic substances. Refined sugar will inflame your body and cause you serious pains when recovering from cut or wound. This is linked to reason bodies of people experiencing Diabetes have difficulty healing from cuts, wounds or major injuries.
6.Avoiding frizzy packaged drinks at such times of recovery is also essential so as not to hinder the body’s healing process.
Medications-
Notice that on this, I am not saying avoid. Your health care provider may have recommended manufactured drugs Try to observe the effect that the medication is having on your body and discuss with your health care provider if you have any concern. Note that it is actually your body that does the recovery while medication(s) assist the body to recover. So your main goal should be for your body to be strong to do its function so the drug can assist.
Hopefully, the manufactured medication(s) do not contain significant levels of substances causing or contributing to inflammation in your body.
7.Avoid inhaling toxic substances through air e.g. perfumes, chemical insecticides.
All the things listed to avoid are aimed at getting your body to be as close as possible to the natural state it was designed to function so it can heal speedily.
MY PERSONAL EXPERENCE
I usually do a lot of rigorous work – gardening, lifting heavy items. I often have to work fast because I want to do as much as possible in a day and still have time to read and do other things considered necessary.
Lots of time, when working I might have a wound or a strain and barely notice. Why? Because during the period, I am able to avoid inflammatory foods and drinks,at such times I DONT EXPERIENCE PAINS.
Recently, I sprained my right wrist. I was not too certain when it actually happened – whether it was during the time I was shredding stumps of plantain bark with a cutlass to use as manure for my mini-garden or while lifting buckets of water directly from the well as there was no electricity to pump water. I couldn’t tell. I just noticed a slight discomfort.
But what made me realise I had sprained my wrist a day or so later? I made and ate akara – bean cakes which involved frying blended beans. Afterwards the little discomfort I was having around my wrist became really painful such that I actually started feeling pain - that I didn’t feel immediately after the mishap happened.
So I detoxified, including more herbs in meals to get out the toxic or inflammatory substances in my system and the pain subsided, in fact left Then some days later, I cooked rice and beans. Hours after eating I started feeling the pain around my wrist again – though not as intense because it has had some days to recover in which I did truly healthy feeding.
So I tried again to stick with healthy feeding (devoid if toxins) for a day or two and the wrist recovered quite well.
But I took a malt drink because I was very thirsty and it was the first thing I sighted when I opened the fridge. I didn’t actually experience pain then but a small discomfort reminding me that over a week ago, I had sprained my wrist.
What was simply happening, is this: whenever any food or drink causes inflammation because of toxic or non-food substances in it, my body is reminded of any unfinished business – unhealed or not totally-healed injury.
It took about three or so days to completely rid my system of the toxins in the malt drink causing such inflammation and reminding my body of pains.
So, understand that it is the toxic elements that get into your body through food, drinks, air, body care products, possibly in medications as side effects that delay the body’s ability to heal from cuts, wounds or major injury thereby prolonging the pains
